Heading up the team here at The Barn, Brading is Matt Searle MBE.
Matt has worked across the hospitality sector for most of his life, from running several successful bars and pubs, restaurants and clubs both on the Isle of Wight and south coast, to managing on board productions for P&O Cruises.
He also has great experience in running large and small scale events and parties, including 2000 guest events at The Royal Hospital Chelsea, The Honourable Artillery Company and Science Museum, and smaller, intimate events across a range of London venues.

Taking a break from the entertainment world, Matt became a charity CEO and was awarded an MBE for his services. Working regularly with bereaved families, he is able to bring a sensitivity and empathy in his communication with people.

Matt is skilled and highly experienced in production lighting and sound, as well as being a seasoned licence holder, so you can be sure that your event will be in the very best of hands!
